Travel Instructions to Clear Creek Schoolhouse

1882 Hammond’s Fork Road, Disputanta, KY 40456

Please note: GPS will not always work in the sweet hills of Disputanta, it’s enchanted!

1 Traveling south on I-75 take the first Berea exit - highway 595. From the exit ramp turn left.

2 Go about ¼ mile to a stop light at the top of the hill and turn right [still 595] toward the Artisan Center and Berea College.

3 Stay on 595 through Berea, passing Boone Tavern on the left, through a 4-way stop and down a hill.

4 About 5 miles out and around a sharp turn to the left, you will start up a hill for about one mile.

5 At the top of the hill you will pass a small white church and cemetery on the right and then a white two story building will be on the left at a three way fork.

Note: cell phone service is patchy at this point….

6 You are at a three way fork in the road - Take the middle fork 1787 South down a steep little hill with a chain link fenced cemetery on the left, and then down another curvy steep hill. The middle fork is hard to see until you are right on top it. DRIVE CAREFULLY

7 After about 2 miles the road will come to a ‘T’ with the closed Disputanta Post Office ahead and a church on a hill on the left. Go left.

8 At about 2 miles you will come to a two story house on the right and a red barn on the left. Welcome!
